This page describes Sockzilly’s browser storage and shopping links, updated October 17, 2026.
Saved socks and motion
The heart button stores internal product IDs in your browser’s local storage on this device. The site also stores your motion preference and respects reduced-motion settings. Opening the adult drawer changes the current page state. No account, email address, or payment details are required.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics loads on the public Sockzilly site only after you choose “Accept analytics.” Until then, Sockzilly does not load the Google tag, send analytics requests, or set analytics cookies. Declining does not affect shopping, saved socks, or product photos. Private review pages do not load analytics.
If you accept, Google Analytics measures page visits, usual page interactions, and Amazon affiliate-link clicks. Google receives browser and device information needed for these measurements and uses first-party analytics cookies to distinguish visits. Sockzilly supplies page addresses without query strings or fragments and reduces referring addresses to their origin. Our custom sock-click event includes only the product ID, ASIN, character, and section tracking ID, alongside that limited page context. We do not send your saved-sock list, and we do not use Google advertising personalization or Google Signals.
Your analytics choice is stored locally for six months. You can reopen “Analytics preferences” in the footer on any page and choose “Decline analytics” to stop further analytics collection and remove this integration’s analytics cookies. Withdrawing does not delete information already received by Google. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies to the current visit. Google’s privacy policy explains Google’s processing.
Hosting and Amazon
The hosting service handles requests needed to serve the site according to its own practices. Sockzilly uses ChatGPT Sites; see OpenAI’s privacy policy.
Product photos load directly from Amazon’s image servers. These requests share the information needed to deliver an image, such as your IP address, with Amazon. Sockzilly does not store photo files or image URLs in your browser’s local storage.
Amazon shopping links leave Sockzilly. Amazon’s privacy and cookie practices apply on its website. Affiliate tracking IDs identify the selected Sockzilly section. Read the affiliate disclosure.
